8 EXECUTE Getting Your Employees Back to the Office Safely Capacity Restrictions Business rules, like groups and policies, can be changed and updated to follow along with your office setting, what works and what doesn't, and the different phases of the Open America Again Policy. Keep up with capacity restrictions by using your workplace management system to execute rules and policies that limit the number of people in the office at one time. Cap the capacity of your office by only activating X% of workspaces. For example, the floorplan is restricting capacity to 20% by making 80% of its workspaces inactive (gray) and the rest available for reservations (green). Implement a time in advance rule. Employees have to book a workspace X hours prior to needing it so that employees can't show up to the office without a reservation - making capacity restrictions easier to manage. Limit the number of bookings a person can make per week. Give each employee the chance to work in the office when they want. With capacity restrictions, it's easier to give each employee that chance by limiting the number of bookings one employee can make.
