Global Enterprise Platform Fact Sheet FAQs Q: Can the Lobby Kiosk language change depending on the user? A: Lobby Kiosk is designed to support multiple lan- guages; however language tags are not currently avail- able and are scheduled for development. The answer below represents the planned design and not what is available today. Lobby Kiosks will be set to a language associated to the building enabling the Lobby Kiosk to present the appropriate language per location. If the person viewing the kiosk is also an AgilQuest user, they can badge-in or log-in and the kiosk lan- guage will change to the user's established language. People who are not AgilQuest users, will see the lan- guage set for the location. Q: Can the AgilQuest language translation present double-byte characters? A: Yes. AgilQuest presents the double-byte characters left to right in place of the English text. Q: Can the main AgilQuest login page be changed to another language? A: The main AgilQuest sign-in page is presented in En- glish only as AgilQuest will not know the user's default language until the user logs in. Most enterprise-level customers, however, use SAML, which will bypass the initial log-in page anyway. The user will first sign in via the customer's intranet site or their own intermediate page. Once the user is authen- ticated via SAML, then the first AgilQuest page pre- sented will be translated as the user will be logged in and their default language will be presented. Q: Does AgilQuest currently have a SaaS Hosted site serving the EU or other regions? A: AgilQuest does not currently have an AWS SaaS hosted site in the EU, but we can add one when a customer is ready with no minimum license fee and no additional costs. (Please allow 4 – 6 week's lead time to establish the site after January 1st 2021) AgilQuest can add AWS SaaS hosted sites to serve oth- er areas that have regional security requirements upon review on a case by case basis. Minimum license fees or additional costs may apply. Q: Can the user change their default language? A: Yes, the user can change their default language at any time in their profile. (The user language can also be set in the initial data load or updated by the customer's administrator.) Q: How are language translations added in AgilQuest? A: AgilQuest provides a list of all language tags and system messages to be translated in an MS Excel file. A translation service, or a customer, adds the translations and returns the file to AgilQuest to load. Q: How is the default date format set for each user? A: The date format is associated to the language on the user profile and is automatically set with the language preference. If the desired date format is different than the language selected, the adjustment can be made by AgilQuest staff. Q: What if the customer wants a language added that isn't listed? A: AgilQuest can add a new language, via Google Ma- chine translation, upon request for a confirmed oppor- tunity. The lead time is approximately 2 – 4 weeks. For a language translation service by a native speaker, the lead time is approximately 4 – 6 weeks. New language fees will be evaluated on a case by case basis. The customer may also designate a native speaker to pro- vide the translations at their own expense. Please allow approximately 1 – 3 weeks from the receipt of a trans- lated file for coordination, loading, and testing.
