Goals and Scope of the Flexible Workplace Program The first and most important step is to determine the objec�ve and goals of your project. Everything you do will depend upon your objec�ve. Do you want to: • Increase employee produc�vity, reten�on and sa�sfac�on? • Manage your conference rooms and hospitality services? • Share desks and reduce office and support costs? • Generate new revenue from sharing unused space? • Do you want to create and support a telework program? Whatever goal or goals you give priority will determine the processes you'll ins�tute to support the program. A company which values employee sa�sfac�on over decreas- ing real estate costs will be much more inclined to purchase new furniture or change floor layouts. Conversely, a company which wants to increase staff levels without leasing new space will be most interested in automa�ng desk-sharing between mobile workers. Organiza�ons with mul�ple facili�es or department specific needs will have to consider specified goals accordingly.
